I have over fifteen years experience in broadcast television. I have worked on a great variety of projects over the years from music video, commercials, corporates and motion graphics to short film, virals, documentary, public sector film and events.

I am currently freelance and working with a variety of production companies as well as producing for direct clients. This seems to take me all over the place and no two jobs are the same. In a typical week I can be scripting and pre-producing in the office, out directing a shoot and cutting in an edit suite.

I previously worked at MezzoFilms as Film Director as well as heading up the
editing department as Editor Team Leader. In addition to this I set up the Mezzo Group’s specialist music video company Poison Pen Films as Creative Director.

I love the directing and the editing process equally and believe that the two skills are very much linked. Wouldn't you prefer to work with a director who is always thinking about how a sequence is going to cut together on a timeline? Or an editor who has the directing ability to take a load of footage and tell a complete story with it?
