Go Remix Myself – out now

Earlier in 2024, I released my third studio album ‘Go Sanction Yourself’. As a companion piece, a smorgasbord of remixes of the tracks have been compiled on this new long-player ‘GO REMIX MYSELF’. I asked several remix artistes to pull the tracks apart and put them back together again in any way they wished.

It is a complete mix-up of dance and electronica – the result is a belter of an album. It’s the best record I never made. Featuring remixes by Mo Wabb, The Big Boss, Orange Polygon, Ray Bentos, Flash Cassette, Benbow, Petrol Bastard, Sargerino and JP Delorian.

Dining Out – a snap release!

I have decided to do a snap release.

Remember the last election? Only a few short years ago. Because the UK felt the need to back a presidential figure rather than stop and think about things like policies, they ended up charmed by a chummy raconteur with the complexion and moral fortitude of a blancmange.

I wrote this whilst he was still in and, while any credibility this nation had left eroded away, knew that he would eventually move on once the position was of no use to him anymore. My prediction that this was just a temporary buffet was correct. We got a succession of other leaders, and that man bumbled off to his next feast – the after-dinner circuit. So the lyrics still hold firm.

Next time you go to the polling station, have a think about the policies and not the figurehead. Think about which set of plans are best serving you or if they have been put there by people serving themselves. Vote with your head.

People In My Way – video premiere

Hello friends and supporters,

My new album GO SANCTION YOURSELF is now available to pre-order. It will be available to download and also physically on CD with an extra track.

In amongst the ongoing output of my band The Scaramanga Six, this is my third solo album in five years, following The Dissolving Man (2019) and Cruel Designs (2020). This collection of songs is deeply cinematic and full of dark stories but with a pronounced stance on current affairs. I’ve found myself branching out into a more freely soulful mix of orchestration, dark dance and wonky beats. The record has been lovingly produced by Stephen Gilchrist of Brixton Hill Studios, who also pressed record.

Cruel Designs – new album out 04/12/20

2020 has been a strange year for everyone. But my colleagues and I have been busy beavering away while no-one has been looking. During this year we have worked on not one but two new albums. Still very much in the recording stage will be The Scaramanga Six’s tenth studio album…more to come on that in the new year.

But the first of these efforts is out very shortly. I have completed my second solo long player in as many years and will be unleashing it in December 2020. The album is called ‘Cruel Designs’ and follows on from the dark cinematic dance created for 2019’s ‘The Dissolving Man’ record.
